Thanks for taking the time to speak with us about our upcoming fall event. As a recap, we are the Where Wellness Blooms Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health and wellness within our community. Our mission is to provide resources, education, and support to individuals and families striving for a healthier lifestyle, often during or after cancer treatment.

We are excited to announce our upcoming wellness event “A Celebration of Health”, scheduled for October 13, 2024. This event will bring together community members, health professionals, and wellness enthusiasts for a day of informative sessions, interactive workshops, and fun activities. The goal is to foster a sense of community while promoting healthy living practices.

Tentative Agenda:

• 9:30AM – Registration and Welcome
• 10:00AM – Speaker, Tracy Degraff – breast cancer survivor on hope and healing
• 11:00AM – Breakouts: Workshops and Demos
• 12:00PM – Speaker, Nicole Andrews – Oncology Dietitian on fighting cancer through nutrition, with lunch
• 1:00PM – Breakouts: Workshops and Demos
• 2:00PM – Panel Discussion: The Future of Wellness in Modern Medicine
• 3:00PM – Breakouts: Workshops and Demos

Our workshops and demos will encompass the following four categories:

• Mindfulness- includes meditation, art therapy, journaling, wellness through mental health
• Movement- includes yoga and stretching, wellness through a body based foundation
• Nourishment- includes tea blending and juice mixology, wellness through food
• Radiance- includes nail polish change, makeup, skin care, wellness through looking good and feeling great.
